Privacy Policy
1.Introduction
Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy explains the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. It is treated confidentially and processed in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3.Collection of your data
Personal data is only collected when you actively provide it, for example when you send us a message through the contact form on the "Our UGC Creators" page, or contact us by email, phone or WeChat (see section 11).
In addition, our hosting provider automatically records technical data when you visit the site (for example IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access) in so called server log files. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably and is not combined with other data sources.
4.Use of your data
The data collected is used exclusively to provide the website without errors and securely, and to handle the inquiries you send us through the contact form, by email, by phone or via WeChat.
5.Transfer of data to third parties
Personal data is only passed on to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil a contract, if there is a legal obligation, or if another legal basis applies. Processing by service providers (see sections 7 and 8) only takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement or other appropriate safeguards in accordance with Art. 28 and Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
6.Your rights, withdrawal and objection
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time, and you can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). As a rule, this is the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or of our place of business.
7.Hosting
This website is hosted by the following provider:
Vercel Inc.
440 N Barranca Ave #4133
Covina, CA 91723, USA
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in order to provide the website securely and reliably. Vercel also runs the server function that receives messages sent through the contact form. As Vercel Inc. is based in the USA, personal data (for example your IP address when you visit the site, or the content of a contact form message) may be transferred to a third country. To our knowledge, this transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
8.Email processing
Our business mailboxes (including info@cbxgermany.de) are operated by the following provider:
IONOS SE
Elgendorfer Str. 57
56410 Montabaur, Germany
We have a data processing agreement with IONOS in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. When you contact us by email or through the contact form, the data you provide is processed and stored on IONOS servers.
9.Local storage in your browser
This website stores your language choice (English or Chinese) locally in your browser (so called localStorage) on your own device. This data is not transferred to our server, is not used for tracking and only serves to keep your setting when you visit again. As this is technically necessary, purely functional storage, no separate consent is required (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
10.SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption to transfer data securely between your browser and our server.
11.Contact form, email, phone and WeChat
If you use the contact form, we receive the creator you selected, your email address and your message. The form sends this data through our server function (see section 7) to our mailbox (see section 8). If you click our email address, your own email program opens first and no data is sent to us until you actually send the email. If you email us, call us or write to us on WeChat, we receive the data you provide (for example name, email address, phone number, content of your inquiry). This data is stored and used exclusively to handle your inquiry.
If you contact us via WeChat, the WeChat service, operated by Tencent, also processes your data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (handling your inquiry or pre contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering inquiries efficiently).
12.No unsolicited advertising
We hereby expressly object to the use of the contact details published in our legal notice for sending advertising and information material that we have not expressly requested.
13.Google Fonts
This website uses fonts ("Google Fonts") from Google Ireland Limited, which are loaded directly from Google's servers. When the fonts are loaded, your IP address may be transferred to Google. You can find more information in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
14.Storage period
Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary to handle your inquiry or as required by statutory retention periods. Server log files are usually deleted automatically after a short time, unless they are needed as evidence.
